More on digital signage innovations, this time in terms of content. BlueFox, a French company producing content for the DOOH industry has developed a 3D weather feed, available in HD and covering more than 78,000 locations worldwide. The content has been described by Guillaume de la Tour, the CEO of BlueFox as ”highly visual, reliable and affordable, adding real value to many digital signage purposes”. Another ‘WOW’ factor is that it’s still unbranded… allowing the digital signage network operators to use their own branding.
We think it’s cool especially because the viewers are now offered real-time weather forecasts (very similar to the ones on TV).
